E-COMMERCE MANAGER

DUTIES
Developing, monitoring and executing the global E-commerce strategy for Impossible
Reducing supply chain costs in regards to shipping, developing affiliate-marketing programs
Implementing online security and coordinating all online transaction and marketing efforts
Control all aspects of a company’s online business
Development of the worldwide online business plan (website, transaction type), implementation and maintenance.
Implementing and renegotiating contracts with suppliers and payment services and staying up to date on any software or data management trends.

QUALIFICATIONS
+5 years of international experience in marketing, Internet marketing, management information systems or general management is necessary
Applicants should have a strong background in website content / design and Internet marketing with experience in modern E-commerce strategies including search engine marketing, CRM systems and affiliate marketing.

RETAIL OPERATIONS MANAGER

DUTIES
Developing, implementing and monitoring a global retail strategy for Impossible, based on spaces (own shops) and partner shops
Opening of up to 3 new spaces per year worldwide and installing a global franchise system (or similar) for our partner shop network
Leading the Area Managers, supporting and overseeing shop location search, openings and actions
Overseeing the recruitment of new sales and retail staff.
Responsible for training and induction programs for new staff members focused on the customers experience
Day to day running and operating of stores
Ensuring a consistently high standard of presentation in all branches
Working closely with visual merchandisers
Maintaining accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports
Controlling shrinkage, wages, write-off, cash control and store expenditure
Marketed the company by organizing exhibitions and special promotional events

QUALIFICATIONS
Focused with a comprehensive knowledge and +3 year experience of managing and developing a worldwide store strategy and leading staff & sales teams.
Commercially aware and highly successful in driving business forward whilst delivering high retail standards, through increasing sales performance, business development and H.R skills.
Proven ability to maximize sales and profitability through excellent service and the effective management of retail space.
Experience of budgetary and merchandise management
Brand experience, working within brand guidelines
Easy going by nature and able to get along with both work colleagues and senior managers

PHP DEVELOPER

DUTIES
Impossible is looking for an experienced PHP/MySQL developer to join our dynamic IT team in our head office in Vienna.
You will be working side-by-side with the lead developer to ensure the smooth operation of our online shop and implement new features as required. Our online shop is hand-coded by our IT team in PHP and operates based on a MySQL database.

QUALIFICATIONS
To join our team in this critical position, you need:
thorough knowledge and experience in object-oriented PHP5
good knowledge of working with relational MySQL databases (innodb): foreign keys, collations, joins
knowledge of the jquery Javascript Library and CSS3
Working with us, it is important that you can stick to coding standards laid out by our team.
If you don’t have knowledge of the following concepts, we will expect you to pick up quickly on:
object-oriented programming using the MVC approach
design patterns in object oriented programming (abstract classes, interface classes, singleton classes)
Design of templates using Smarty: includes, blocks, custom blocks and functions
use of Zend_Translate with the gettext adapter for localization

SERVER ADMIN

DUTIES
Impossible is looking for a server admin to maintain our servers that power our online shop and day to day business. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth operation of our servers. These consist of
one load balancer (based on HAproxy)
One Apache-based admin server
A set of public servers based on nginx and fastcgi
One machine for services, including Subversion and LDAP
One server for serving static content, based on nginx
All Servers are based on Debian Linux with a central file repository mounted using sshfs
Further, you will be responsible for managing our DNS entries.

QUALIFICATIONS
At least you have:
good knowledge in managing LAMP-Servers based on Debian Linux: Apache (version 2.2 or higher), SSL, mod_rewrite, virtual hosts, relational MySQL databases (Innodb)
good knowledge of the shell (bash, scripting, cronjobs, management of log files)
Management and setup of Subversion servers:
Further, it would be helpful if you have some experience in:
Managing nginx Servers
Managing a Load Balancer based on HAproxy
Memcached, sshfs, nosql (mongodb)
